CO2 Portable Fire Extinguishers (3KG, 5KG)

CO2 Portable fire extinguishers are ideal for combating Class B and Class C fires, including electrical fires. They use CO2 to displace oxygen and extinguish the fire without leaving residue.

  • Class B Fire: Petroleum, Oil, Paint, Varnish, Solvent, Aviation Fuel, Flammable and Volatile Liquids etc.
  • Class C Fire: Flammable Gases, Industrial Gases etc. As well as Electrical Fires

CO2 extinguishers are highly effective in extinguishing flammable liquid and electrical fires. They work by displacing the oxygen that the fire needs to burn, and they do not leave any residue, making them ideal for use on electrical equipment.

To use a CO2 extinguisher, pull the safety pin, aim the nozzle at the base of the fire, squeeze the handle to release the CO2, and sweep the nozzle from side to side until the fire is extinguished. Always ensure that the extinguisher is kept upright.

When using a CO2 extinguisher, avoid direct contact with the nozzle as it becomes very cold and can cause frostbite. Ensure the area is well-ventilated, and never use CO2 extinguishers on deep fat fryers, as it can cause the fire to spread.
