Dry Powder Fire Extinguishers (1KG, 2KG, 4KG, 6KG, 9KG)
ABC fire extinguishers are often the ideal choice because they can put out many different types of fires. They use a dry chemical known as monoammonium phosphate that can quickly put out the fire. It is a pale-yellow powder that is used to extinguish three classes of fire. ABC fire extinguishers are considered “multi-purpose” extinguishers which can be used on Class A, B, C fires as well Electric Fire.
- Class A Fire: extinguish fires involving paper, wood, textiles, cloth, rubber, trash, and plastics.
- Class B Fire: extinguish fires involving flammable liquids, solvents, oil, gasoline, paints, lacquers, and other oil-based products.
- Class C Fire:: extinguish fires involving flammable gases like LPG and others gases
- As Well As Electrical Fires
Dry powder extinguishers are effective on Class A (ordinary combustibles), Class B (flammable liquids), Class C (flammable gases), and electrical fires, making them highly versatile.
They work rapidly to extinguish fires by interrupting the chemical reaction, which makes them effective in high-risk environments. T
The smaller sizes (1KG and 2KG) are ideal for personal or vehicle use, offering a convenient option for on-the-go fire protection. T
Suitable for a broad range of environments, from homes and offices to industrial settings, providing a universal solution for fire safety. T
Generally, more affordable than other types of extinguishers, making them a cost-effective choice for comprehensive fire safety coverage.

Pull the safety pin to break the tamper seal. Aim the nozzle or hose at the base of the fire. Squeeze the handle to release the dry powder. Sweep the nozzle or hose from side to side across the base of the fire until it is completely extinguished.
Be aware that dry powder can create a thick cloud of dust, which may reduce visibility during use.
The powder can be irritating if inhaled; ensure proper ventilation or use a mask, if possible, when using indoors.
Dry powder can be corrosive and damaging to sensitive electronic equipment, so use with caution in environments with delicate electronics.
Dry powder leaves a residue that can be messy and difficult to clean, so be prepared for post-fire cleanup.
Not suitable for Class F (cooking oil and fat) fires, which require a special type of extinguisher.
